Jungle 04:17
I don’t know why I do the things I do Somebody said it’s all about the moon Maybe it’s keeping everything in tune I don’t know why I say the things I say Nobody cares about em anyway Maybe it’s time I gave my tongue a break I still feel like I’m a piece of the puzzle Maybe I’m the piece that always causes trouble I’m so lost in the wilderness I can see the treetops, just can’t reach them yet I don’t know if I’m supposed to go alone If you don’t hear from me I probably ditched my phone It’s hard out here in the jungle If you don’t hunt you’re going hungry But maybe hunting’s not the one for me Maybe I’m meant to be all by myself Maybe I’m meant for life upon the shelf Maybe it’s caught up in my mental health I still feel like I’m in the bigger picture Maybe I’m just not the most vital fixture I’m so lost in the wilderness I can see the treetops, just can’t reach them yet I don’t know if I’m supposed to go alone If you don’t hear from me I never made it home I don’t know why we all strike out on our own I keep my friends with me everywhere I go I’m so lost in the wilderness I can see the treetops, just can’t reach them yet I don’t know why we all strike out on our own I keep my friends with me everywhere I go

about

'Jungle' is a song I wrote in 2018, and have been playing live since then. I've not felt able to release it until now, because I couldn't find a way to do it justice in the studio, in terms of energy, passion, and raw size - it's a *huge* tune, if I do say so myself. I've finally managed to get it clicking, and I couldn't be prouder. It feels like a big step up in ambition and quality from me, and I really hope you like it!
